TEHRAN -- Free agent Rahman Rezaei is to sign a six-month contract with Persepolis football club on Saturday.

Persepolis is set to omit goalie Misagh Me’marzadeh from its list to recruit Rahman Rezaei.
Rezaei said, “I’m so glad to choose Persepolis. I have great aspirations in the club and want to reach the national team. I am not here for the money since I am not a businessman.”
Rezaei played for Isfahan’s Zob Ahan for three seasons. After an impressive performance for the club and the national team, he was transferred to Perugia and then to Messina.
In the 2003-04 season, he helped Messina to qualify for Serie A. After steadily playing for his club for three seasons, at the end of August 2006 Rezaei signed with another Serie A club, Livorno
